Affordable Net Zero Energy Homes
This project involves the development of architectural drawings for a series of new homes designed to be both affordable and energy-efficient. The homes are conceived with an emphasis on practical layouts, simplified construction techniques, and sustainable design features—supporting broader goals of accessible housing and long-term community investment within Milwaukee.
The scope includes a new single-family home prototype that balances cost-effective construction with comfortable, livable space. This prototype design, allows for streamlined permits, reduced architectural costs, and efficient construction timelines. All architectural plans will be prepared in full compliance with local zoning regulations and the Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code (UDC). The designs aim to promote neighborhood stability, housing equity, and environmental responsibility through thoughtful, efficient, and durable residential architecture.
